Nature’s Charm offer a variety of vegan-friendly, mind bogglingly-delicious dessert toppings.
They come in four flavours; Caramel Coconut Sauce, which was where it all began in 2016, Coconut Butter Scotch Sauce, Coconut Salted Caramel Sauce, Chocolate Fudge Sauce and Coconut Matcha Sauce.
I was very fortunate to test two of these – Coconut Salted Caramel Sauce and Coconut Chocolate Fudge Sauce.
Things were about to get very very tasty.
I first tried the Salted Caramel sauce. It was dangerously good. I couldn’t stop with just the one mouthfeel; it lured me back for me. It was beautifully sweet and very creamy, with a nice hint of saltiness. It reminded me of caramel fudge and just screamed to be slathered over ice cream or squished between a biscuit base and chocolate in some sort of delicious caramel slice.
I decided to get creative and make some salted caramel blondies and some energy balls. The blondies came out moist and sticky – oozy caramel goodness and toasty baked bits. But it was the energy balls that I loved most. Along with Nature’s Charm Coconut Salted Caramel Sauce, I added in crushed cookies (Hobnobs to be precise), along with a little peanut butter, coconut and maca. Oh boy, they tasted a treat!
As for the Coconut Chocolate Fudge Sauce, WOW. It was sooo rich and fudgey and delicious. It reminded me of the choc fudge sauce in a McDonald’s Sundae, but even better!
It was also very creamy with that distinct but not overpowering coconut flavour and a rich but not too sweet cacao taste. Delectable and dreamy. It would work wonders with any (and all!) puddings, ice cream, in a plant milk shake, over waffles and pancakes, with raspberries and much more.
The texture of Nature’s Charm dessert sauces was very smooth and quite thick, but thin enough to drizzle when needed.
They are dairy, gluten and soy-free, and sweetened with cane and coconut sugars.
Nature’s Charm dessert sauces definitely do not disappoint. Saucy and superb.
